Outdoor Trips
There are regular outdoor trips both in the local area and further afield.  At these all, whether members and/or their friends, are welcomed.
Ground conditions are dependent on weather.  Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.  Under CNHS Rule 20, all activities are at your own risk with no claim against the Society.
It is recommended that you bring binoculars, lenses, and field guides on all trips, plus (unless morning only) a picnic lunch.
For sustainability and as many of the locations of outdoor trips are not accessible by public transport, car sharing is recommended and is co-ordinated by the Secretary.  There may be parking or admission charges imposed locally.

Badger Watching
Pre-book place with secretary, who will provide details of time and venue.  Pay in the box in the mammal hide- £3 (£2 if you are member of either Badger Group or HMWT).  If you are quiet, you should see a range of species.
